How to change the size of text and fonts in Windows 10
One of the customization options that disappeared with the first of the Creators Update was the possibility of changing the size of the text and system sources in Windows 10.
To change only the size of the text in some elements there is a fairly simple tool that we already talked about, but if you also want to change the type of font, its style and more, you will need this tool a little more advanced.
Advanced System Font Changer is a small portable application, which means that you do not need to install it. It is extremely easy to use, and creates a backup of all your original sources in case you want to restore them later.
You just need to download the program, run it and start playing with new sources. Advanced System Font Changer lets you change the typography of: the title bar, the menus, the message boxes, the title of the palette, the text under the icons, and the pop-up messages that appear when you hover your mouse over a element.
To change the font of an element you must be in the Font tab , click on the element, for example, “Title bar” and choose the new font, style and size.
Once you change all the sources that interest you, you just have to click Apply and restart the session to be able to apply all the changes. You can do one at a time or multiple.
If you want to change your fonts for some new ones that the system does not include, you can check some of these 13 websites to download free fonts. Before running Advanced System Font Changer you must install the new sources.
For this you only need to find the sources you downloaded, select them, right click on them and then choose Install . The process takes only a couple of seconds and they should appear later on the list.
This tool also has an advanced tab from which you can change the space between icons, the height of the menus, and the width and height of the text in the title bar.
You can also export all your settings in case you want to save different configurations. And, if you want to return to the original state you just have to press the “Default” button.
